Michael Bailey
Michael began flight instructing with ATP in August of 1999. In ten months, he earned 1900 hours of total time, and nearly 900 hours of multi-engine flight time, and was hired by Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA) in April of 2000. He piloted the Jetstream 32, and was upgraded to captain in the larger Jetstream 41 after 11 months. One year later, he advanced to the CRJ-200 Regional Jet as captain.
Michael has instructed for ATP's Regional Jet Standards Certification Program both full and part-time, training professional and student pilots to prepare for airline careers.
In September of 2006, Michael was hired by AirTran Airways, and currently flies the Boeing 717. Read more of Michael's story here.
